Scotland County Special Olympics serves children and adults in our community who are mentally challenged. The program provides an avenue for these individuals to excel in a sport and compete with peers at the local, state, national and possibly international level. Special Olympics build confidence, self-esteem and a nurturing environment for all the individuals it serves.
