The Scotland County Humane Society in Laurinburg, North Carolina is a non-profit organization that depends on donations to remain solvent. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the stewardship of abandoned, lost, abused, impounded and surrendered animals in our community. Our compassionate staff, strives to place each adoptable animal in a loving home or with an approved rescue organization. To accomplish this we vaccinate, microchip, provide medical attention and spay/neuter to provide each animal the best chance at a long, healthy life. We believe the only long term solution to the overpopulation of dogs and cats is for EVERYONE to spay and neuter their animals, without exception.
